Galstaun College hosts interfaith dialogue

In this program, around 150 Jewish, Muslim, Armenian, and Catholic students from four north shore schools came together at the Galstaun College in Ingleside for an innovative three-part intercultural program titled “Respect, Understanding and Acceptance”. Devised by the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies Education Secretariat, the program brings together students from the Galstaun Armenian College, Masada College (a Jewish school), the Australian Islamic College of Sydney and St Paul’s Catholic College, Manly.

Strathfield South High & Windsor High

We are all Australian focuses on the lives of 16 young people from diverse backgrounds. The exchange program, initiated by Strathfield South High School in March 2007 was a Living in Harmony activity and a funded community project. The film was launched in February 2008 and involved more than 120 students, 10 teachers and 20 members of the local and academic community. The project has also resulted in the development of a teaching and learning resource which addresses issues raised in the film.
